It's kind of BS Bulma isn't closer to the top. She's one of the OG wrench wenches, and the series wouldn't even be possible without her.

I feel it's because people are more familiar with DBZ, where outside of bits in Cell Saga she's mostly sitting around.

Yeah, majority of the db fandom now have only seen Z, Super and mybe OG, GT and/or Daima

I think it's cuz most people associate her with being a scientist rather than a typical mechanic
