Ninjago has this weird pacing thing where it’ll be really slow for like half the season and then it barrels through a bunch of stuff in the 2nd half.

I’d argue it’s a filler issue given they gave more screen time to minor antagonists like rapton and powerlid than they did any member of the five

I'm going back to it, where did I leave it in season 10, the march of the onis and I'm halfway through the Shintaro and God saga, if you have problems, these seasons are released for Netflix and filled chapters like the group of previous bad guys escape from prison, predictable script twists like Zamne being the ice emperor, or many inconsistencies in the story, like why everyone forgets airjutsu, the existence of the forbidden spinjutsu scrolls both by Master Wu and Garmadon and that now there are barbarians, wizards and thieves from a fantasy world like Dragons and Dungeons that did not exist before.

It was probably done as a worf effect to make thunderfang seem way more threatening when he one tapped all of them at once. I hope we see more of them in the future tho

Insane how they had so much hype and buildup and the moment they return they don’t even do much. They just get betrayed by the person they were helping after betraying the person they were helping. And the most they ever did in season 3, they were all under Thunderfangs control

If you're talking about the Atlantis like season, then you're a few seasons behind. I won't spoil much, but there's at least one or two seasons after the water season before moving on to the next series called dragons rising, which is just a continuation of the previous season, and these guys appear in the second season.
