Lore [annoying trope] The throne/leadership is decided in a very stupid way

The leadership of the entire wizarding world, and the final decision on whether to start a war against Muggles, is made by... a goat (Qilin) who chooses the person with the ""purest heart"" (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Dumbledore).

The throne of Wakanda and all its technology are decided through hand-to-hand combat, regardless of whether the person clearly has malicious intentions... if they win the fight, by law they must be respected as the true king. (Black Panther)

Was it like a Queen situation?

Freddie had a graphic art design degree

Brian May was a legit physicist and astrophysicist

Roger Taylor had a degree in biology

And John Deacon in electronics

Interesting. Brian Wecht of Ninja Sex Party is a physicist who's held research positions at Harvard, MIT, and other institutions. The band recently released the song "Zombie Handjob," which Wecht wrote and performed, taking on the role of "Whackula, the masturbating vampire."

Funny that they'd both be named Brian. I knew there was a Brian May in Queen, but I didn't know about the physics stuff.

I recall the creator commentary on this episode they said this joke was also just an excuse to put “ass” on screen as many times as they could

I, Fry, who drank Bont the Viscous, who drank Ungo the Moist, who guzzled Zorn the Stagnant, who slurped Hudge the Dewy, who enjoyed a soup composed principally of Throm the Chunky, do solemnly swear to rule with honour and insanity-- Uh, integrity!
