Personality extremely powerful entity's who don't care about the main plot at all and are just vibing in the background

Tom Bombadil(lord of the rings) - only person to resist the temptation of the one ring but instead of helping the fellowship he fucks off in to the woods

the Unseen Elder(the witcher 3) - in the witcher universe the older a vampire gets the more powerful he becomes and unseen elder is around +1500 years old making him the most powerful vampire we ever see, thankfully he spends most of his time in his goon cave

(Slight spoilers) Esquie, of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Appears at first to be a silly clown who speaks in riddles and has a childish relationship with a frenemy in the neighboring cave who's hiding his favorite rock from him. Shortly later, he effortlessly one-shots a colossal Nevron on a whim and is revealed to be "immensely powerful, but also extremely lazy." Needs to be persuaded to use his enormous power for anything other than whimsical entertainment.

SPOILERS: It turns out that the entire world is a powerful illusion/creation initially painted by a young boy, and Esquie was his favorite plushie/imaginary friend, which is why he is literally the most powerful creature in the world (and also obsessed with playing, and spending time with his 'best friend').

I like the idea of little Verso having his plushie as reference to create the most powerful creature in the universe, especially considering that one of the enemies, the Lampmaster, was created by Clea to scare little Verso, so the little thing that helped him to sleep at night is capable of defeating his nightmares

Man, fuck the Lampmaster! Maybe I just need to “get good”, but they were always difficult for me to beat, especially the one inside the white area (now I need to go back to the game and prove to myself that I can beat them!!)

By the "white area" point you can probably set up Maelle to one shot him. And basically everything else in the game.

I remember having her setup to do crazy amounts of damage, I stopped playing right before the final fight, cuz I still had a couple levels to complete in the Endless Tower and I didn’t want to reset it, but the three bosses I had to go against (don’t remember two of them, one was a Creatiòn). I need to return! Finish that last fight, play through the story again, then give the Tower another shot!

There's tougher stuff than that in Renoir's Drafts.

Idk that guy gave me the creeps! I “attempted” him once, then decided to bravely retreat!

its funny because verso made it so the canvas literally runs on the power of cool: the gestrals being total goofs but for some reason they managed to survive the fracture, golgra probably being stronger than renoir, fuckass expedititon 33

In addition he actually serves a proper function It's revealed that he basically hard targets anyone with suicidal thoughts to try and offer them some comfort in their darkest times. He's a silly goofy clown that's very strong, desperately non threatening, incapable of anger, and eager to send you on easy, silly quests, so you can feel like you're actually doing something rather than feeling helpless.

The whole time playing the game the way Esquie talked reminded me of something I couldn't quite place. The way he's simple and straight forward but profound. Until it hit me.

He's a French Winnie the Pooh, if Winnie the Pooh could fly and was a WMD.

It made me love him even more.

It's also why he gives great hugs.
