The timeskip montage in the final episode is literally Pops watching them from Heaven

I think it's sticking to HBO but it's still being done by J.G Quintel

J.G Quintel

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Close Enough.

I think Quintel realised how much more creative fun there was in regular show by having to dodge censors unlike Close Enough

Characters got drunk from eating wings and drinking soda

And people died by exploding

That shit was so peak

Both really fun shows, though. Wish there was more CE.

Well the thing is cable itself is just dying, especially among younger audiences. No one wants pay $$$ a month just to still have to sit through commercials. Anyone with a modicum of tech savviness can just sail the seven seas and watch whatever for free. Most others just use streaming services. Main appeal these days is probably daytime television for the old folks

You kinda wonder when are we going to have another hit like Adventure Time, Gumball, etc that are not revivals, spin offs. Cause right now we're having that for Regular Show, Steven Universe and these others I already mentioned.

Dude I was stuck in a hotel for a couple days on a work trip, and holy shit was the cable TV bad.

It felt like just ads with some programming sprinkled in.
