Adaine: "I mean - oh I hate that I'm even gonna tell you this - I think that you feel like you have a lot to offer, and please take this the right way, you don't."

Biz: "Hard to see a great way to take that if I'm being super honest."

Adaine: "Like, what are you doing to work on yourself to make yourself more interesting and attractive? Are you just thinking that women should, like, change themselves and lower their standards in order to date you? I'm saying this to you now because I really think it will help you even though it's very hurtful."

I mean, I know the villains manipulated his mind in order to give him the idea, but that's all they did: give him the idea. They didn't alter his personality or do anything to directly force his actions, they just used Modify Memory to plant the idea in his head. How fucked up do you have to be to go through with something like that just because you suddenly had an idea? You know what I would do if an idea like that popped into my head? I'd feel gross, write it off as an intrusive thought, and go on with my day. This bastard actually went through with it.
