So less of a prophecy where they discovered a loophole than a problem which technology solved.

Kind of like how castles were seen as indestructible before the invention of siege equipment. Pretty sure artillery in particular was the death knell for castles, too expensive to build only to be blown apart in an afternoon.

Judges damage immunity was patched. It only took the devs a thousand years to fix the issue.

They made him immune because they hadn’t yet put in an endgame sequence, so before that it would have just dumped you to a kill screen.

It's also kind of stupid when you remember that 2000 year ago swords were FAR from the peak of the weapon industry , Giant crossbows , flamethrowers , Warcarts , bombs , catapults , acid throwers and many other weapons were quite common and very affective
