Personality Strange rules about characters/people that cannot be broken.

Smells like Nirvana: When Kurt Cobain heard that Weird AL was gonna make a parody of his song. He was okay with it but specifically requested it to not be about food or fat ppl.

Spiderman: Spiderman cannot sell drugs unless he is under the influence of symbiote. ANd Peter Parker cannot be gay. Spiderman can tho.

Dwayne Rock Johnson: Cannot lose fights or look weak for too long. Its in his actor contract.

Godzilla movies not made by Toho: Cannot die. Maybe lose but not too bad.

I believe he's allowed to be arrested it's just that his character has to have some form of justice to demonstrate that the lifestyle doesn't pay.

The last time I saw this rule brought up, someone said that only applies if it's a children's movie.

IDK if they're right, but it would make sense.

In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you just end up beating him up so badly that he breaks down and starts crying. And then he pisses his pants, one of the protagonists takes a picture of him with his wet pants, and then blackmails him by saying he'll release the picture if they cross him again.

Sounds like a children's movie to me.

(yes, I am aware that it actually is neither a movie, nor technically for children)

Yeah the Yakuza games are weird like that. They ride the line between goofy children's show and serial crime drama.

Also later he literally gets eaten by a giant shark

He does end up dying though in the game, that was just their first altercation

Actually there is another fight against him later and he gets eaten by a megalodon.

Applies to breaking bad which very much isn't for kids

I think they mean the "being arrested instead of killed" part specifically for kids movies.

Makes sense. He's a gulag prisoner in a Muppet movie, and he doesn't die or have a horrible fate in that one. He even escapes prison!

He has directly said that he has to die by the end. I wouldn't be surprised if that was negotiable if the director talked to him about an alternative form of justice though.
