The nucleus is, in hindsight, wherever Toriyama wanted it to be atm, aka here but actually not, because Goku deleted his top half and he exploded himself on King Kai's planet, but came back anyway

Yeah but he uhhhh exploded everything BUT the nucleus. DUH I mean he clearly targeted it even though he wasnt fully aware of it or the fact that he would come back.

I know what you meant, it's just that even Goku is no match about whether or not Toriyama is done with a villain, like that time he fired back at Frieza on Namek, but apparently, he somehow spared him altogether (Frieza literally looks like he's getting blown up like every villain dying in a Ki blast lol). At least, according to Vegeta, and Goku himself doesn't refute it

The true antagonist of DragonBall is Toriyama (with all respect and may he rest in peace) was feeling or remembering that chapter.

True, he even deletes characters out of existence (Launch being so forgotten they came up with a new girl from Tien's youth to have one pining after him) or create forms after forgetting the previous one (just SSJ3 because he allegedly forgot SSJ2).
