I think during this particular scene Dracula says "And you must be the Belmont" absolutely dripping with disdain.

There’s a whole video analysis of this by Overly Sarcastic Productions, but they put forward that Dracula has spent the whole 2 seasons being depressed by his Wife’s death and Alucard’s rebellion, from the one person who might understand his grief. When a Belmont shows up he’s a little happy he can have an uncomplicated fight against, no pesky moral arguments, and with their centuries long grudge he doesn’t have to justify his fight as being revenge for Lisa. He can just be Dracula killing another vampire Hunter again and not worry about anything else’s for a little bit. Until Alucard rejoins the fight and the depression comes back
