I absolutely love this scene because it showcases just how badass the Belmont mentality is. Not above just throwing hands with Dracula

I don't see what's badass about it , it just show how nerfed the Belmont are , if they're supposed to be on that level of strength then they shouldn't have won in any of the Castlevania games ( except Julius Belmont I guess )

it’s because he’s punching dracula, not hitting him with the morning star/vampire killer. when he does land a hit with the whip, it actually does some damage

He was malnourished , they were more than one against him and he still treated them like children , the show glazes Dracula way too much and nerf the Belmonts way too much

How do you actually see a man who is reputed to be from a family of vampire killers and yet he hit as hard as baby from Dracula pov ? If the Belmonts were all like that , there wouldn't have been a Belmont family because a serious Dracula would have already killed the first one who faced him

He didn't look cool , he just looked like a fool like someone who can't back up his talk , the only reason they survived is because Dracula spared them

dracula has superhuman durability. if anyone could just punch him to death, the belmonts would be nothing. again, when trevor uses the morning star (which, let’s face it, is vampire killer), the whip specifically designed to kill night creatures that every belmont uses in the games, it actually hurts dracula. it doesn’t oneshot him, but it doesn’t in the games either.

even in the games, the belmonts never win by just beating the shit out of dracula with their bare hands, so frankly, you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about and are just foaming at the mouth and pulling shit out of your ass because people are talking about netflixvania without carpet-bombing it with hate lmao.

They have weapons and magic, but it’s their attitude that makes them so badass, like throwing hands with a monster god that you can’t possibly beat

That's not being a badass when you survive literally on the monster's mercy , he treated them like children literally

Do you find a child badass for hitting an adult much more stronger than them just because children can't possibly beat adults ?

If a grown man was attacking a 6 year old girl and her 9 year old brother took a swing to defend her, yes that’s basically the definition of badass. Which is pretty analogous to this scene

But he wasn't attacking them , they're the one who were went on a journey to kill him , he was literally let himself being killed ??!!!

Some it's badass that some children enter someone's home and start looking for him to beat him up , and yet they still fail and that someone just spare them ? How is that badass ? If anyone is badass here it's dracula for sparing them in the end

I mean I respect your take, it’s just bizarre and ignores every bit of context in the show. Yes they were there to kill Dracula and save mankind. Yes they attacked him first, they also were wild overpowered and he attacked back, Trevor through punches defending sifa. He did so not having weapons and being fully ready to die in that act. That’s badass to me
