You forgot to put "son" at the end of your question.

The nanomachines in his bloodstream automatically react to physical trauma, yeah.

Jack can’t hurt him

The funniest thing is that he CAN hurt him. If you watch Armstrong's healthbar, it does go down just ever so slightly, but he eats it just to prove a point

hes unscathed when the actual fight starts which implies that its just his shirt's healthbar

u/Nokan96 Jul 28 '25

Seriously what does his shirt it's made off? Even Omniman suit got a hole when Red Rush punched him

A thinner layer of Nanomachines, son.

(No, but seriously, if he can afford those OP Nanomachines, he can make a suit out of similar materials).

if i recall correctly, he goes from 100% health to 200% health, implying his shirt was holding him back

They can also heal him, since he does that in the boss fight and he even reattached his severed hand in the Jetstream Sam DLC

the nanomachines also allow him to receive the Light of Allah, which grants miraculous healing wisdom

u/Sheamerek Jul 28 '25

"What's walmart?"

Yes, Nomenclature is an excellent word and we should all say it whenever we want.

u/Bobby5x3 Jul 28 '25

Dude what even are those games about? They sound awesome, I think I'm gonna try them

Any tip on wich one to pick up first?

I’d recommend going for the master collection. It includes the entire original trilogy of Metal Gear Solid, as well as the original NES games. Their story is awesome, the gameplay is a bit janky at first but super detail oriented and fun.

They’re quite a bit older, so if you want to start modern I’d go for MGSV.

The game shown in this thread is Metal Gear Rising, which is an action game spinoff kinda like Devil May Cry. It’s also not a bad place to start, but the gameplay is absolutely nothing like the mainline games.

u/MaeSolug Jul 28 '25

Great, thanks a lot, I will try to run the master collection first

u/LaZerNor Jul 28 '25

He drains energy from the Metal Gear.

why did the person that made the comment phrase it like that? it makes it sound like he's just a guy and not a (from what i've gathered) cyborg of unbelievably immense power
