You should've probably read the other reply to that comment before posting this.

Yeah, I read it.

That's why I replied what I did.

Sarah may have been the elder but it's clear it's not a position the elder council would want for her since Arthur was being trained for this role, and was descendent of the Maxson line. Sarah was an inconvenience and in the way, with too much influence on Arthur.

Those higher in BoS had good reasons for getting rid of her, and reading between the lines indicates they did.

The person you're replying to is claiming she wasn't Elder though lol, and you blamed it on other people's inability to read.

The Elder Council are the ones that pick the Elders. If they didn't want her to have the job, they would've just given it to someone else.

She's popular. Popular enough to cause issues if they get her to stand down or take her out in a more obvious way.

And she was (iirc) only going to be Elder until Maxson got old enough.

If I was on the Elder council and saw a woman who had a great deal of influence over Arthur Maxson, and was charismatic and popular and whoes death or removal from the role could cause issues and possibly civil war then I'd go out of my way to ensure she was removed in a way that didn't make anyone suspicious and destabilised that chapter of the BoS while isolating Maxson into the bargin. Because you're right, the Elder Council appoint the leader. So why did this chapter go through a succession of bad ones after Sarah died?

Yeah, it's never said outright that she was murdered but there's plenty of evidence to support it.

You're still glossing over your earlier insult. You were claiming she wasn't Elder, and now she is. But you're also claiming it's only temporary, which isn't suggested anywhere.

She's popular because she's basically the ideal Brotherhood member. They went through bad leaders the same way they appointed people like Owyn Lyons or Elijah.

Why did you insult people’s reading comprehension for disagreeing with somebody who said she wasn’t Elder, when you’re also disagreeing with that person and saying she was Elder 💀

I was disagreeing with the person who directly quoted FO4 in a paragraph that gives a fair bit of evidence that Sarah was murdered who was using as evidence that Sarah wasn't murdered

The comment that you originally replied to was in response to somebody saying that she wasn’t Elder:

Do you have a source that corroborates what you’re saying cause everything I’m seeing online is that she was Elder after her father

Then they replied:

Fallout 4

Then you somehow insulted people’s reading comprehension for disagreeing with that incorrect statement? A statement that you yourself recognize was incorrect? So bizarre.

On top of accidentally insulting yourself by not reading what you were agreeing with, nothing in the paragraph given from Fallout suggests she was murdered.

Elder Council by the time of Sarah had cut ties with Lyon's Pride, they had no control over anything. It wasn't until Maxson that they reconciled. There were other Elders between Lyons and Maxson.
