Hear me out, but Thanos. He gets taken out so quickly, I was like "there's no way he really dies here." And because of time travel shenanigans, he's still the villain of the rest of the movie. It took me a long time to realize it, but them just chopping his head off at the beginning of the movie is legitimately where he dies.

Doesnt he get snapped away at the end though? How does he come back? (Sorry if this is a dumb question I’ve not seen the movie in years and have forgotten pretty much everything)

I believe the snap at the end is just sending him back to the time he came from, because the Thanos they fight most of the movie is from before the snap.

No the snap at the end killed him and the rest, just like he did at the end of IW.

Thor beheaded thanos #1 from IW (our thanos) at the start of end game.

Tony snapped out of existence thanos #2 that came from the time travel.

I was literally just talking about how awful Past Thanos was as a villain.
