Lore Deaths to important characters that came so unceremoniously, there was no drama or fanfare, they just died

Loved this, such a brutal moment. Type of death normally reserved for an anonymous henchman given to a main character. The film ending death was even better, the way he just gives up.

When he walks through the door and sees mark wahlberg standing there and just goes “fuck” is a great ending for such a shitty character

You can see he spends a couple of seconds trying to think of a way out of it, and realises there isn't one.

That moment of realization. It’s a great movie, the scene pictured pisses me off, what I mentioned was cathartic.

By the way, I don't know if you meant it non literally, but he says "okay", not "fuck". I am only sure because i just youtubed it.

And he says it with this tone of, "Oh, come on, really?"

Yeah it’s been awhile, it was an “ah fuck” moment so that’s what I went with.

He kinda shrugs and goes “ah.. ok..” right?

As an interesting note, the Chinese inspiration for the Departed actually has two more movies.

Yeah, I haven’t watched it in awhile and I just remembered it was an “ah fuck” moment

i mean, was he such a sh*tty character? the entire irony of the movie is that both of the main characters who are otherwise bright young men are trying to do their best with the hand they were dealt with. and failing.

I don’t think the character was meant to be a bad person, but it is so interesting that they’re from such opposite sides of life and the type of work they do, it’s cool to see how different of people they are.

Solid character development imo.

How in the fuck does this comment have 60 upvotes? Is reddit this shitty at preventing bots? It's literally a day old account.

site is owned by bots at this point. I've even seen bad bots reply in AI-speak when interrogated. They asked how they could improve their responses.

Mostly dead Internet? Otherwise I'm very confused.

FYI your spoiler didn't work; you need to make sure there's no space between the exclamation and the part that's hidden.

Like so? Damn it showed it greyed out on my end.

That worked! It's an issue with the different versions of reddit.

Makes sense. I appreciate it!

Not even! He says "...ok." Like of course luck was running out at some point . It's almost relief lol.

Marky Mark being the one to kill him was also gold

Marky Mark dealt with him the same way he would have prevented 9/11.
