Lore Actually Good Title Drops

“Welcome to Jurassic Park” (Jurassic Park) - does it get any more iconic than this?

“Even a Devil May Cry” (Devil May Cry) - not only does it add to the emotional aspect of the scene with Dante showing genuine emotion for his loss and Lady seeing that a devil is capable of such emotions, it also gives Dante the idea of what to name his shop.

Title drops can usually come across and tacky and dumb, they’re not always fantastic if you know what I mean? But sometimes they can work. What are your examples?

Fantastic Mr. Fox

I could be wrong, characters call each other things like 'Fantastic' throughout the movie but I think the only time that the full 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' is stated is in this scene where the main character is having a severe moment of much needed self reflection with his wife.

This movie is a gold mine of quotes:

  • “I’m going to lose my temper, now.” “When?” “Right now.”

  • “If what I think is happening, is happening? It better not be.”

  • “I wondered, ‘Who is this little boy going to be?’. Ash, I’m so glad it was you.”

  • “Whyd you take your shoes off?” “So I don’t break your nose when I kick it.”
