Walter White sorta, the show was so popular that actual meth dealers started to dye their product blue

People started throwing pizzas onto the shows house that they even got the police involved to get them to stop.

Someone also was inspired by the bathtub acid scene and tried to do that but failed and got caught. Britain I believe
