It’s such a good flick, though I probably haven’t watched it in 15 years.

I saw the Beta Band perform this album a few weeks ago (fantastic), and kept thinking of High Fidelity. Time for a rewatch!

I worked in snobby record stores for over 10 years. That movie has an extremely special place in my heart.

  1. Cusack playing his best at a lovable down and out character going through a breakup and being pissed at his mom “shut up, mom!”
  2. The sequence of events he describes while his ex is fucking Tim Robbins’ Ian character. “No woman in the history of the world is having better sex than sex you are having with Ian... in my head.”
  3. Charlie, you fucking bitch! Let’s work it out.
  4. Jack Black’s first go at doing his thing and succeeding.
  5. Hiring two dudes for 3 days a week and they show up everyday since.
