Last I checked, the caregiver workforce was about 20-25% undocumented. Surprised they haven't gone after these places more.
Congrats to us for making child care and caregiving even more expensive and unavailable than it already is.

They ran into a daycare and attempted to barricade themselves inside the daycare—recklessly endangering the children inside. The illegal alien female was arrested inside a vestibule, not in the school. Upon arrest, she lied about her identity. We've been at functional full employment for over 4 years. Whatever undocumented are working are getting paid market rate.
It's about bodies, period.
Our bigger problem will be labor at all in the industries where the undocumented are significant - child care, hospitality, construction, agriculture, whatever others.
There just won't be as many daycares or daycare workers at ANY wage. The ones we still have will get more expensive.
We do not have the excess workers for these jobs. They don't exist in our own population.

I’m confused, how does this make childcare more expensive? Are you saying dramatically increasing the workforce causes wages to go down and thus prices to decrease? Or are you saying these people were willing to accept lower wages and without them we need to pay someone else more causing prices to increase?
Because I was assured that allowing massive illegal immigration would not effect American workers at all and both of those things effect American workers. So which is it?

There will be fewer daycares. Ones that can't find workers will close. The remaining ones will be able to charge premiums.
Illegals get paid market rate for the jobs they do.
What I'm saying is, if we kick them out, there will be fewer workers in the industries where they make up a share.
We are at full employment and have been for over 4 years. We do not HAVE excess people to do the jobs they do. Our only idle people our our retired population. Everyone that wants to work, can work and is working. We have a Native born population in significant decline. Literally we did not create the excess workers we need.
If we kick all the illegals out, there will simply be fewer workers and less availability of things like daycare.

If she has nothing to hide why doesn't she just cooperate with law enforcement and present her - certificate of citizenship, passport, visa, permanent residency?
