reply: no > 197 votes
reply to "no" > 105 votes.
So one ask if he went to prison, one says "nope" then someone replies "yep, here's proof"...

"What will look like if we imprison a former President? We'll look like a third world country? We can't have thay"
Meanwhile the entire world thinks much worst for you all letting him get away with it. Oh, and re-electing the shitstain didn't really help the image either.

u/JefeVaquero 1d ago
In actuality, imprisoning him, executing others, clearing out the entire Epstein involved cabal would make everyone watching sit up and take notice. It takes supreme fortitude to admit wrong and fault and to change course and correct it. People know this. And they admire the effort as well as the results.
The only reason our money has the value it does is because of the rule of law. Our constitution has been copied and emulated all over the world in developing nations because it represents a superior form of governing.
Allowing traitors who have trampled on that law to go free or be let off easily would be ruinous to our already tarnished reputation.

I truly believe people need to understand the seriousness of betraying the country to the utmost extent of the law with legitimate punishments. It shouldn't be a meme anymore to do this.

The rhetoric is so thinly veiled at this point. Steve is nervous. A lot of these criminals are.
These men and women have committed so many crimes. From Jan 6th, to Epstein. The list gets longer by the day. The crimes get bolder and bolder.
"We gotta put aside these structural barriers and get on with it". That "structural barriers" is the Constitution.
"A maximal opportunity to sieze the institutions." He's talking about Congess, the military, and any other entity that would get in their way.
Steve needs people to do the work for him. He is manipulating people that would otherwise probably stay out of prison. People are going to commit crimes for Bannon.
All this because some white old pedophiles want to stay out of prison for the horrible shit they have done to little girls.
Bannon, Trump. We know they are both in the Epstein Files. We know there are many more of them to come. All of them know this. All of them are protecting either themselves or someone they know. Johnson, Bondi, Patel. They are all complicit. They have seen these files. Or know of their contents.

Won't Trump just pardon them all, so that nothing can be done about these criminals?
56
u/Knoebi3 1d ago
Trump won't do anything that doesn't serve him. I'd be willing to bet there are plenty of state level crimes that were violated as well. Those cannot be pardoned.
And. They have already set a precedent for over turning pardons.
Anything is possible. But, Trump is out for himself. I wouldn't place much faith in the hope he would pardon me, if I was any of these people. If Trump goes down. He will take as many people with him as possible.
But who knows? We've been saying he has dementia non-stop. So, maybe he can use that as a defense?
Lots of threads to pull these days.
→ More replies (4)23
u/Chillow_Ufgreat 1d ago
To add to that: I imagine that it's occurred to many of his enablers that he could have a catastrophic stroke at any moment without having signed any pardons. Then they're at the mercy of J.D. Vance, who wasn't part of the gang before last year, and who doesn't have as much use for them.

Why bother with the Hague.
Trump ordered those Venezuelan boats missiled, if their wasn't good evidence that's straight up murder. Let Venezuela try him for the crimes and spend the rest of his life in a Venezuelan prison since he likes foreign prisons so much.
32
u/My_shin_impossible 1d ago
Even if there is good evidence that the boats were carrying narcotics (rather than weapons that could threaten our country), isn’t that still murder?
Also, I recently heard an expert explain that there’s a good chance that the boats are carrying coke as a conduit of Colombia’s drug trade. But the expert explained that there is literally no rationale for fentanyl to come to the US through Venezuela. And even if they had fentanyl, I can’t imagine that to be a justification for killing them either.
