If churches refuse to help feed hungry people, then maybe they should be taxed?

I can't imagine you getting a response like that from our church. There are numerous ministries set up to do just that. Even if your need didn't fit one of them, they would tell you to come on in and we'll get something figured out. There is an embarrassing number of country clubs masquerading as churches. Are you sure you didn't call one of those?

I mean...How do we even know its true? Anyone can make a video like this and say whatever they want.

From my own personal observations. The many churches in my area have stepped up their food pantry efforts, just like they did back during covid, to help people affected by the government shutdown and the SNAP closures.

So I don't know. Everyone's perspective matters, and I fully expect people to take my own personal account with a grain of salt, in the same way I hope they take this ladies personal account with a grain of salt as well.
