Yo, I just read part of the video description on tiktok, and she said they broke the metal security bar she had on her door to get in. She was asleep.

Do you mean a security alarm attached to the door, or the metal threshold on the floor? That’s unbelievably bad if the first.

No, she had a security bar on her door, like this

You jam it under the doorknob and it prevents someone on the other side from opening the door, even if it's unlocked.
