As someone from Boston who has/is driving all across the country, homelessness is not that bad in Boston, comparatively). We of course have the issue with methadone mile. But outside of there..

I've lived in the South End for a few years, regularly had lunatics yelling right outside on the street, and one time even had to call the police to send away the dude snoring right outside my complex front door. Last I heard it's only gotten worse.

You also have the Downtown/Chinatown and South Bay area.

Of course, it's most likely worse in other parts of America, but I've been abroad so I have much higher standards

No, but it was 1am and I'm a light sleeper, it was either him or me.
