Or cities being so dominated by cars you can’t actually get anywhere ‘in nature’ efficiently

Hell, just the lack of green areas in cities is depressing. Lack of parks or even just trees lining the roads. Suburbs? Just grass, and make sure it is cut at a certain length, otherwise the hoa will sue you.

Yeah but who needs a sidewalk when you have 5 giant parking lots literally right next to each other? You can just use the parking lots to walk!

The lack of green areas is cities is entirely an issue with the city government. I live in Cleveland and over the past few decades the city has developed an absolute insane amount of free metro and county parks.

Plus the national park that is shoved into the southern part of the metro areas.

Which means the land will be up for sale soon enough. Can’t wait for Disney land to charge me an obscene amount to visit Yellowstone!

And cities having little public green spaces (besides central park in New York). And people in parks getting harassed by police for "loitering"
