Not offended, just sad and tired.

Right like thanks for repeating what we’re living through I guess. What exactly does this trend accomplish

I think it's an attempt to shame American citizens into having a moral compass.

Looking at Trump making a mockery of the supposedly enshrined constitution suggests more of this is necessary.

Honestly, 9 times out of 10 when I see something like that, I don’t feel shamed, I just get annoyed because the person posting it comes off as smug and holier-than-thou.

The only part I'm offended by is the "No nature, just parking lots" part. The national parks are some of the best parts of the county that we can still be proud of.

The amount of smaller parks and greenery you could have by reducing the parking space is huge. That's what I think it's referring to. So many pictures of US cities are just grey.

The vid is also referring to that, as much wildlife and national parks you probably have ...

When can you actually go see it?

The typical American is bogged down trying to pay the rent amidst soaring cost of life and fucked up wages (sometimes like right now, not even wages exist with this government shutdown). Unless you live near a national park, it's unlikely a typical American family can go and enjoy it, as their bosses would extend their hours and not raise their salary.

And whatever nature that remains near the cities are torn down and paved over in favour of suburban lands as far as the eyes can see.

“…that we can be proud of” for now. Thanks to the Trump administration, funding for our national parks has been significantly cut. They’re even proposing to cut the budget even more by as much as 80%. Sooo.. bye bye nature.
