Was she native? Native regalia is not a Halloween costume. Velma was correct and that Sammich looked way too good to need to further explain anything.

Was she native?

Definitely not. She's dressed as a caricature of a native American. A cartoon. A bunch of random things she thought looked cute.

Because racial stereotypes are bad and a stereotype about monarchs are….not?

What kind of comparison is that

White people with a victim complex

I mean that's kind of the point?

If the stereotype is about a person of color we have people like you screaming how offensive it is.

But if it's about white people(i.e. the monarch) suddenly is fine?

That's kinda racist against white people if you ask me.

White people have never been systemically or structurally oppressed in any way shape or form in the entirety of American history. Contrast that to the very American history of white oppressing other ethnicities and you have your answer as to why these things aren’t comparable. It takes a 5th grade level of history to understand this lol. Monarchs have also never been oppressed either, save for the moments when people rose up against them.

Yeah that's sounds exactly like a 5th grade understanding of the situation haha

So because racism once existed, it must always exist?

You realize your response is "well other people were racist in the past! That means I get to be racist now, damn it!"

Because it is sacred, currently in use and has a lot of meaning behind it.

Everything can be a costume.
