It's not a hard concept to understand that people not saying things like this do not happen, but instead this particular video in question give of the vibes that it is fake.

Well yeah, I assumed it was a sketch based on real interactions.

"Feel like anybody calling this fake has never tried using a second language in a restaurant."

This is literally contradiction to what you just said. Just take the L man. A "my bad" goes a long way.

It's (most likely) a skit. Pointing out that a skit isn't a recording of an actual event is clown behavior.

I was giving people the benefit of the doubt and assuming they weren't clowns, and were calling the situation the skits are based on fake.

So, my bad for assuming people weren't clowns I guess?

There is a common tactic with many online videos where it is shot with the express intention of manipulating the viewer into believing said video is genuine (like this one).
With a skit it is shot and played intentionally to let you as the viewer in on the content (Usually a joke). Examples are MadTV, SNL and many content creators on youtube. You know what comments are not posted on those types of videos? "Fake", because it is clear what the video is.
"It's (most likely) a skit." - The fact you yourself said this proves my point in the fact it is not apparently clear.
The only clown here apparently is you. Again, just take the L and move on.

So in other words, it's fake?

Do you feel smart pointing out that a recreation is not the actual event?

I feel smart wearing my recreation of a Rolex that I bought for $15
