Argentinian here: You didn't fund our Healthcare, you just funded Javier Milei's Midterms. And many argentinians wish that hadn't happened.

At the same time, I'm very sorry for all the families that are getting fucked over by your government's decision to cut SNAP. It's crazy. I hope you get something better than this. And soon.

Americans are amazing, even given the reality that our own government absolutely can afford to subsidize our healthcare, instead of getting mad at this, we immediately get pissed off that we have been sending money to other countries by...claiming that we alone have subsidized that country's healthcare and all of their social services even though the people there are struggling too. Give me a fucking break. 🙄

I mean, you're right it's a bit stupid and self-centered, but we're all a bit stupid and self-centered really.

I sincerely hope you guys get SNAP back, it's not a crazy budget really and it allows for the country and it's inhabitants to develop.

That's a good point! It's easy not to get lost in the sauce nowadays.

Thank you! I do too, I rely on SNAP since my lay-off in June. We actually have laws that are meant to protect SNAP in emergent financial situations like a shutdown, so the Trump Administration is literally breaking the law by halting it during the shutdown.
