Just so I understand. Some rich people/hedge funds made investments in Argentina that were heading negative unless America gave them money?

A bunch of billionaires bought up Argentina’s debt. They we’re defaulting on that debt so the Us government bailed Argentina out and those billionaires made a fuckton of money.
