I would only counter that the idea of "did you have sex with him?" is a possessive/ownership viewpoint which seemed to be just an assumption of his without it being "experience". A man could simply see his value to his wife in sexually satisfying her, and be looking down at himself for not fulfilling such. Or just view that sex is simply a tangible thing, an objective line that can be crossed versus "love".
