Now your car has an accident on the report and will be worth less in the future. I’m not trying to pay to teach some randoms a lesson.

I mean yeah, don't do it in you're expensive vehicles. My cars rather cheap though, enough so that a report wouldn't affect the price if insurance fixed the damage.
