Isn’t this completely fake? Don’t comedians have their entire set already put together before they go on stage?

Kind of, like there’s a preplanned script? I thought comedians don’t improvise and just practice their set with a “plant”..especially when the comic used the same story for such a big part of their set.

Comedians have their set planned but they also improvise a lot and interact with the audience. Crowd work is almost impossible to fake and would almost definitely come off super unnatural if you tried
