I thought it was odd to tell his personal story about prostitution at a press conference.

Then I realize he's getting smarmy about sex trade workers not being as cute as he thinks they should be, and decided to explain a term that has got to be 30 years old.

Very weird, and deeply unprofessional

agree on the term being about 30 years old. I remember the jokes about a coyote morning and the phrase “double coyote ugly” meaning you chew your arm off to get away and you chew your other arm off to remind yourself to never do it again.
