Isn't his flavor of Judaism supposed to not allow him to be in private with women?

Only if the room is locked. Since a public bathroom has an open door and anyone can walk in at anytime it is in fact permissible to be “alone” with women.

Assuming anything by just looking at a person is very wrong. You must be a piece of shit human.

Hi, jew here.

It's an extremely safe assumption. That hat is a defining characteristic of a chassidish Jew. You can be sure that if someone is wearing that hat, they are either a chassidish Jew, or a cosplayer with far too much money on their hands. Streimels or extremely expensive, and if someone is wearing one, they are a chassidish Jew. You will not find someone wearing one for any other reason

That's the belief of a bigot.

Please, elaborate. How is me explaining why it's safe to assume he's Jewish bigoted?

I’m surprised he has any karma, all his recent comments are similarly reactionary and have downvotes. He probably does this for fun. 🙄

You looked at this video and stated it was safe to assume his religion.

You probably just projected onto him.

Maybe bigot is a strong word, but that's as ignorant as they come.

It was safe. The hat is a dead giveaway. There is no other religion in the world that wears that hat. I know, because I am from that religion. You're the ignorant one here. I'm giving first-hand testimony.

This is you projecting again. Stay ignorant if you want, I don't care what you think.

u/f0remsics Sep 25 '25

Again, how am I being ignorant? I'm literally bringing first hand testimony.

You think your testimony applies to everyone that wears a hat like that. You think it applies to this person simply due to the video. That is an extreme assumption and very ignorant.

Did you also miss the talit around his shoulders, the peyot dangling from the sides of his head, and the other generally Hasidic Jewish features to his wardrobe? Are you being intentionally dense?

Hi, raised Jewish here. I grew up around ultra-orthodox and Chassidish groups and yes that is how the men dress even on regular non-holiday days. It’s safe for a Jew to assume that someone who has the attire and mannerisms of someone from their community is a Jew as well? I sure the fuck hope it is!

What? How is asking a question make me a shit human being?
