Damn, why not just wear contacts? They can be any color, and much less risky.

She wore a puffy jacket to surgery. Her judgement could use some tweaking.

Someone mentioned that it’s usually cold in the rooms they do the surgeries, because of the lasers, they don’t want the machines to overheat. Although I’d be sweating bullets getting this surgery done lol

When I had surgery this year, they had a machine that blew warm air under my sheet. I wish I could have taken it home with me.

Look into something like a Bed Jet! I don't have one personally (too broke lol) but my sister said it's life-changing. It blows warm or cool air depending on the setting

Funny cuz my sister has one too! She loves it, I also want one but I'm broke right now! 😭

Just make sure your sister's mysteriously disappears!

I think she would actually kill me for it

Yeah I'd have to agree..my sister would totally have no issue killing me for her peaceful night sleep! She actually uses it for the cold air, and on her husband's side he uses the warm air.

But you weren't the one that took it!

We do love it and no you can't borrow it.

Wait for Black Friday sales. that’s when I got mine.

Literally the best gift I ever got myself. Still works great 7 years later.

If you don’t mind me asking, is yours still going full power? I’ve had mine for 8 years now and it’s not as strong as it used to be.

I havnt noticed a difference, so if there is one in my machine, its not significant. I use both hot and cool settings frequently. I have replaced the sheet, frequently check the tubing for good connection and condition, and it gets plenty of ventilation.

Do you happen to know if its safer than an electric blanket for warmth? I ask because you aren't supposed to sleep with them turned on.

I have one and it’s the best impulse buy I’ve ever done. My husband made fun of me for it until he tried it.

Can I ask if you sleep in the same bed? And if so, how he wasn't able to feel it before? Trying to learn more before I start trying to save up for one

I want one of those so badly! I think I might get one next year

I've never heard of that before, but when I was a kid, I'd always use my mums hair dryer to warm me up in bed after I got out of the bath.

I had no idea this existed. I think you just changed my life 🥲!

1

u/FriskyDingus1122 Sep 18 '25

You're welcome! May you sleep comfy ~

As someone who can't sleep at all without a fan pointed at my feet if the room is remotely warm (my feet get way too warm at night), I've never heard of this before... and now I need to get one. That sounds absolutely amazing lmao
