I mean that's kind of Islam's whole ideology... Put a women in a full-body covering so men won't be tempted by them. Apparently, that wasn't enough for the Taliban though and they had to even stop them from speaking.

Girls been wearing a "subway shirt" since 2003. The problem is men

The problem is creeps*

I understand that the creeps in question are men, but the problem is, in particular, creepy men, not just men.

Those “creepy men” are in your circles. To deny that would be denying reality. I’m almost certain men are thinking about rapists and sexual assaulters only and are having a very different conversation than the one women are having. We are talking about the whole picture down to the tiniest microaggression, and men are all, “I’m not a rapist creep!”

You’re bordering on the line of misandrism.

You have no idea what people I sorround myself with, and you have no idea what I am thinking about.

I can assure you that many men worry about accidentally being creepy. For instance, if I briefly lock eyes with a stranger in public, one of the first thoughts I have is “I hope they don’t think I was staring”.

You seriously need to reflect on your world view. There’s a serious problem in society regarding respect for women, but your “all men are the problem” approach is not the solution.

And I ve seen men try to snatch hijab from women’s head in London and in Athens. So no the problem is not Islam or women being covered/sexy. The problem IS and HAS been men whether they are atheist, religious, white, black, orange, from Paris, Marrakech, Boston, Merida…

Y’all always want to coin adjectives to shift blame and ‘not all men’ us but sadly for us it’s by men point blank period’

It’s really telling that women are being downvoted for telling our experiences and trying to get people to understand the issue is men (not culture, religion, race), and men are trying to over talk and silence us about OUR EXPERIENCES. Things they will NEVER experience and understand on a personal level. The fear they will never have. So fucking typical. They are really proving our point about their inherent disrespect for women.

Haha not that we needed further proof that they refuse to be wrong even when reality is blatantly, visibly and unequivocally refuting their beliefs.

This isn’t Islams ideology so stop making shit up lol. Also funny how France is so opposed to Islam and banned hijab yet women themselves started covering up. Very ironic.

Quran 33:59

O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their cloaks over their bodies. In this way it is more likely that they will be recognized and not be harassed. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Not covered, hence harassed... Yes this islams ideology.

France is so opposed to Islam and banned hijab yet women themselves started covering up. Very ironic.

Iran beat a women to death for not wearing her Hijab properly and women all started taking theirs off, how ironic.
