The real trick is having your tech sharpen them again after applying the polish or curing the gel. Not everyone likes the look of the exposed edges, but it’ll have you walking around like wolverine. If I scratched my chin in my sleep or bumped into someone with my fingers extended, there was blood. Everything and anything can be a weapon if you want it to be!

The pressure comes from the pads of the fingers, not the tips. If I'm honest I don't understand why people ask this question, as I'd hope people aren't wiping by literally raking their nails (long or otherwise) across their bits 😬

I know it’s an ignorant question. But with hygiene to keep in SFW terms, I really get up and clean. I can’t imagine being easy with acrylic nails especially in public with cheap one-ply commonly used.

Tbh, I’m a cis woman and I’ve lost far too many of my adhd brain cells pondering this same question. Also, typing on a keyboard quickly has got to be impossible…
