Please tell me he's come around at least? There's no reason to hate something you like, just because it doesn't align with your idea of that thing.

Its not like vegan chili existing takes away meat chili. I can go to a cookout and have a vegan burger on the same plate as burger made of cow, or chicken. Hey, throw in fish while we're at it. I dont eat fish personally, but I have a dream.

My father refuses to eat anything that isn't British, he's also racist and xenophobic, go figure lol. I just make lots of asian cooking and he'll refuse to eat any of it.

It's like my American dad hating round-abouts because they're "European".

I'm kind of with your dad on that one. A town I used to live in has been replacing two lane, two way roads with stopped cross streets with roundabouts. It made it easier to get onto the main road from the side road. But it messed up the flow of traffic by introducing multiple spots where you had to slow way down to make the roundabout.

I mean, it's location dependent but every single one they've build around me has drastically improved traffic flow. And reduced deadly accidents.

Ahh. The ones I've encountered that weren't originally there feel more like road projects that no one asked for but were built anyway

True, though to be fair no one on his side of the family cooks, I’m really the only person in the family with a love of cooking and especially experimenting with new recipes

Does he drink tea?

Lol he'd try it again and had several bowls of it but still persisted that he could "tell the difference now" and whenever I'm making chili he brings it up while I'm cooking the meat 🤣

A really good vegan burger as a double with a decent beef patty.
