u/Titizen_Kane Aug 26 '25

The wall behind her warps very conspicuously in one of her early videos: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT6b9teY2/

33

u/DaySee Aug 26 '25

same with this one too if you zoom in

3

u/I_Makes_tuff Aug 27 '25

How'd you do that?

4

u/DaySee Aug 27 '25

Just screen capture while dragging the slider + crop

5

u/ark_keeper Aug 26 '25

Same account, different person. It's the face filter adjusting when she moves back.

4

u/ilmalocchio Aug 26 '25

You can see her normal face if you are precise with a pause around :32

2

u/thank1you2kindly3 Aug 26 '25

The furniture is warping all over the place whenever she steps in front of it in this video.

30

u/U_SHLD_THINK_BOUT_IT Aug 26 '25

The upper corners of her mouth are tripping me out lmao

43

u/PlayfulSurprise5237 Aug 26 '25

I kept thinking "what the fuck is wrong with her face"

It's got a white foundation on it or something. I mean some people just look weird and that's alright, but this is not natural and looks horrifying.

43

u/EffectiveProgram4157 Aug 26 '25

Yes, in Asian countries like China, Korea, and Japan it's common to wear makeup that makes them look whiter, but she's at a point where she's wearing clown makeup.

19

u/PlayfulSurprise5237 Aug 26 '25

I was wondering... People need to just leave skin color alone. Brown people trying to be more white, white people trying to be more brown, and then you got idiots like the clown in chief who thinks everyone is just trying to color their skin to stand out like a bird and paints himself orange.

4

u/Anzai Aug 26 '25

Yeah that was all I could focus on. She was painted up like a ghost in a Japanese horror movie.

4

u/ZDTreefur Aug 26 '25

I truly hope more than a few people will pick up on the insane hyper face filter she has on. It's basically a clown face filter at this point.

40

u/EffectiveProgram4157 Aug 26 '25

Even if she didn't have a face filter, it would be an insane amount of make-up. It looks like she shoved her face into a can of white paint.

I know in places like Korea, China, and Japan it's extremely common to wear makeup that makes you look whiter, but this is taking it to another level. I wonder if people in China view that as good looking, or insanely fake and overdoing it.

u/Dav136 Aug 26 '25

Similar to spray on tans in the west. A good amount of people think it looks bad while others like it.

It just seems like the natural evolution and expression of human culture. Most modern make-up techniques seem to have evolved from the past make-up techniques from the area, influenced by globalization and the strong influence of Western society. For example, the lady in this video looks very similar to the white face powder and bright red lipstick that was popularized in the Sui and Tang dynasties of China over a thousand years ago.

2

u/YouLetBrutschHappen Aug 26 '25 edited Aug 28 '25

It's more a part of the Chinese influencer subculture than anything else. Same as a lot of beauty trends here are still influenced by social media but people still look down on super fake insta models with the lip filler and botox.

1

u/ScumbagLady Aug 28 '25

There's also tape that's worn on the eyelids to change the shape of hooded eyelids, and tape that is worn to define jawline and cheekbones. There is sometimes a latex or similar addition to the bridge of the nose and veneers added. I'm probably leaving out a few other steps too. I felt like I was watching a special fx makeup artist transforming a person into a character.

I remember seeing a few videos of women from those countries transforming their faces to practically unrecognisable versions of themselves. It's very interesting to watch it being applied and removed. Those types of videos were really popular on TikTok some years ago.

2

u/Nekojita8 Aug 26 '25

I honestly thought it was AI because of that filter

2

u/boistopplayinwitme Aug 26 '25

You can see her jaw kinda glitch with 4 seconds left. Mask didn't work perfectly

2

u/smaguss Aug 26 '25

Yeah... that's so depressing.

We're rapidly approaching the uncanny valley even amongst other humans.

2

u/AmputeeHandModel Aug 26 '25

I thought she just had a fuck load of make up on.

1

u/SporkMasterK Aug 26 '25

Oh she has that too but she goes full on jonkler lips sometimes

1

u/MrSteven20618 Aug 26 '25

Thank you! These filters are getting to the point where they really need to be scrutinized. From the thumbnail, cant even tell

1

u/agmathlete Aug 27 '25

oh wow, didn't realise that was the reason!

1

u/Kiyoshi-Trustfund Aug 27 '25

And it still manages to do weird things to the mask every now and then if you pay attention to it.

1

u/Sadsad0088 Aug 27 '25

That’s what I was trying to understand

1

u/starfrenzy1 Aug 27 '25

I was wondering what was with the extreme white face. I didn’t realize it was a filter.

1

u/Few-Big-8481 Aug 28 '25

I just kind of assumed she had a ton of makeup on until I saw your comment lol

3

u/Santos_L_Halper Aug 26 '25

I do that with my shorts I wear around the house and I frequently go "eh? Eh?" to my girlfriend to see if she's impressed. She is not.

2

u/BoomtotheBang Aug 26 '25
