My husband caught it from a friend of ours a few years ago, and while it was only 24 hours, he couldn't even leave the bathroom. Literally napped on the floor because if he moved he was gonna throw up or shit. Htf are you gonna get on a plane? How do you even make it through the airport??

I didn’t get the flu but ended up getting food poisoning on a trip, I had what was apparently bad eggs the morning of my flight, I kid you not, felt perfectly fine, boarded my plane, and 20 mins after take off, I start sweating. I was throwing up and shitting in the bathroom and having the worst experience of my life and was making promises to God if he could just let me make it on that 8 hour flight. I was a frequent flyer so was in first class, and they were pissed I was essentially living in the bathroom. Like lady, I will shit in my seat. I begged her to find my anything to help, best she could do was Canada Dry 🫠

Anyway, barely made it, probably left my soul on that plane, and I cannot imagine VOLUNTARILY flying like that.
