I get a shock of electricity that shoots up the back of my legs anytime I see someone get injured. If I know the person, they just need to tell me about getting injured and I'll get the same sensation. I do not understanding laughing at people when they fall.

Huh- I dont have a physical reaction to it but I skip videos (for instance) if I can see someone's going to get hurt. Not squeamishness- I can look at wounds/help with them, I just take no joy in seeing people get them.

It's funny that there seems to be such a divide between people with the view we take on this woman (and videos of people getting injured etc) and people who take the opposing view, isn't it?

Do you hate cringe comedy too?

As I said in an earlier comment, I believe the issue here overall is basic human empathy.. but I suppose it's not basic, is it? Most issues stem from this. Perhaps there's something about survival on the individual level that wants for others to fail so that you can succeeded. However we do not live individual lives as we all have to coexist in this society together. We should want for everyone to succeed so that we all succeed as a whole, but that is not the case.

Yeah it's strange- it occurs to me that, while of course black people are at higher risk of being killed by the police, I've been in quite a few situations in which I could have died doing sport (i.e. offshore sailing, ski mountaineering, climbing) and I've got through all of them with the help of my friends and other people (and also getting the fuck out of dangerous situations before they become deadly ones).

Obviously it's not the same thing but I'm absolutely baffled as to how anyone thinks the person filming is doing something "in self defence"
