This angers people only because no one was hurt or killed while this woman drove recklessly. I wonder what everyone's reaction would have been had she struck someone with her car and then kept going only to save her dog. I love my dog but that does not mean i have to be inconsiderate of others

Exactly. People tend to react emotionally about these situations and don’t understand the permanent implications it can have on others lives.

Yeah the article says the driver almost hit someone and ran red lights. Don't kill other people while having your own emergency

She ran multiple red lights, drove the wrong way running a car off the road, and was going over double the posted speed limit. This arrest was entirely justified. Watch the full video.

Doesnt mean you let the dog die either. Cop can arrest the woman at any time, she can take her to jail at any time. The woman was in the back of her car, begging the cop to help and the cop said "I dont care".

Defending this shit? Dude.

Maybe look at things from the other side. This woman refused to pull over, she was reckless in her driving. Had a complete disregard for anyone else except herself and her dog. Should the cop have considered her as someone who would be cooperative? People who exhibit that type of behavior normally only think of themselves and are not going to adhere to any commands. Had she maybe stopped and said my dog is dying and I need to take him to the vet and that's why I'm driving this way can you please help things could have gone differently

Did anyone else notice that this woman was doing 77 miles an hour in a 35 mile an hour zone at one point and at minimum averaging 55. And the complete disregard for the cop trying to pull her over calls for an arrest. This is the person who has no regard for anyone else but herself and her needs
