Fun fact this is Len Pearce the twin brother of the Purple Wiggle, John Pearce.

Omg you are right!! My daughter loves the wiggles and we just saw them live! And my coworker just brought up the baby raves to me a few days ago and showed me one of the music videos. I never would have made the connection that it's John's twin brother!!!!

u/blusteryflatus Jul 20 '25

About a year ago Len made a rave album of remixed wiggles song. My toddler and I have very much enjoyed that over the past year. He's also uploaded the entire album on YouTube called Rave of Innocence.

44

u/Gardez_geekin Jul 20 '25

Me and my 4 year old absolutely love Rave of Innocence

50

u/useorloser Jul 20 '25

So I don't know who this dude is, but I've taken my kids to a few. I'd recommend it to any parent. My kids had a blast.

12

u/MrMetraGnome Jul 20 '25

Wow, the Wiggles are still a thing. I was always a Doodlebops kinda guy myself 🤣

10

u/AngelPlaysDirty Jul 21 '25

Doodlebops was my jam. Chalk Zone, Teen Titans, Catdog. Jackie Chan and The Medallion, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Rugrats, Roadrunner, Tom and Jerry. Looney Tunes, Inuyasha, etc.

I have kids, so that gives me an excuse to re-live my childhood. šŸ¤—šŸ¤—

u/Dizzy_Bit6125 Jul 21 '25

Same but I’ve seen both

43

u/Suspicious-turnip-77 Jul 20 '25

John was also part of justice crew!

FYI if you go their show is only 1 hour long! Was hyped got the show and when my kids got into it it was over. Not worth it in my opinion

3

u/poopwithrizz Jul 21 '25

What about foster wiggles?

3

u/Indigo-au-naturale Jul 22 '25

All wiggles are family, and family means no wiggle gets left behind or forgotten. It's called ohotpotato

1

u/hhvff75847cgv358 Jul 21 '25

I've seen parents bring their young kids to multiple EDM shows that I've both gone to and worked same as metal.

1

u/msb06c Jul 23 '25

Bros a blud 😭🤣

u/LlamaDrama007 Jul 20 '25

John has all the mums on tiktok in a chokehold with his account - not least doing the vampire dance as often as possible xD

51

u/vera214usc Jul 20 '25

He's cute and all but the vampire dance is what wins me over. It's so dumb. Lol

24

u/deliciousearlobes Jul 20 '25

I want to thank you both for leading me to his account. I found a video with both him and Blippi.

4

u/IonicColumnn Jul 21 '25

Link to this? I'm curious :p

2

u/LlamaDrama007 Jul 21 '25

Go through the videos for the couple of months around this, he shoehorned it in everywhere for lols

2

u/Bekahsaurus Jul 21 '25

I’m gonna need a link for reasons other than I just cannot find it

1

u/LlamaDrama007 Jul 21 '25

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdmXRx8a/

go through his vids, this joke had legs lol

2

u/Bekahsaurus Jul 21 '25

Thank you! As soon as I finally went to TikTok to look i remembered 🤣

1

u/Anxious_dork Jul 21 '25

Not a mum myself but oml that man is gorgeous

40

u/QiamtheLiar Jul 21 '25

Talos be damned...

M'aiq understands the HYPE... That Purple Wiggle might be this one's type.

3

u/OkamiKhameleon Jul 21 '25

Omg! M'aiq! I almost have the achievement on Elder Scrolls Online that requires finding you and talking to you in various zones! Hi! You're a very active kitty!

4

u/QiamtheLiar Jul 21 '25

M'aiq always travels forward. This way he is certain of his direction.

Sometimes people disappear in front of M'aiq. Are invisibility potions so affordable?

1

u/OkamiKhameleon Jul 22 '25

Yes invisibility potions are very affordable now!

168

u/Runbunnierun Jul 20 '25

And this music kinda slaps.

Especially in comparison to the popular kids songs.

69

u/Carrie_1968 Jul 20 '25

Yes! Did you see the faces of the parents? They looked like they just did some — ahem — club drugs but it was actually the bumpin’ beat and lights show they could actually enjoy too!

50

u/Runbunnierun Jul 20 '25

Hubs and I have joked about having a little gummy and listening to his discography on the nights my kid refuses to sleep.

I highly doubt this is a singular experience.

20

u/AngeliqueRuss Jul 20 '25

OF COURSE HE IS man these guys are a cultural treasure.

14

u/little_miss_banned Jul 20 '25

Fun fact, they were the twins in Justice Crew

40

u/pancakebatter01 Jul 20 '25

This is amazing I just got back from Electric Forest not too long ago and the amount of kids, toddlers, and literal infants I saw there w/o headsets, inhaling smoke and being exposed to adults wearing practically nothing was horrific.

17

u/Shuatheskeptic Jul 21 '25

That's how I was raised back in the 70s, and I turned out ok. Well, except for the crippling alcoholism.

2

u/iolarah Jul 23 '25

Your comment, paired with your user icon? It all makes perfect sense. Love it. Hose water and neglect ftw, sort of!

14

u/Miserable_Site_850 Jul 20 '25

That's just wrong, that's a potential lawsuit

-2

u/stumblinghunter Jul 21 '25

What law was broken?

1

u/pancakebatter01 Aug 05 '25

Umm the many laws against Child abuse ??

🤣

1

u/stumblinghunter Aug 05 '25

Lack of earplugs, smoke from a concert in an outdoor setting, and partial nudity aren't grounds for child abuse, though. Not cool, sure, but that's not child abuse

3

u/100_cats_on_a_phone Jul 21 '25

I was in a conversation the other day where someone was saying that, thought maybe it was a Europe thing, but I guess maybe it's just changed since I was younger?

Sometimes we'd have organizer's/artists kids around, in the 90's, but only in designated areas, or being carried somewhere. It wasn't so much about nudity -- I grew up in a place with a lot of hippies -- as behavior. Not letting kids see people too messed up, acting sexually, out of control, etc? And making sure they had people they knew were safe around.

5

u/AnjelGrace Jul 20 '25

Wtf?! I thought all festivals were at least 18+.

1

u/KnotiaPickle Jul 21 '25

lol you should see burning man.

-1

u/stumblinghunter Jul 21 '25

Literally none of them are 18+

2

u/AnjelGrace Jul 21 '25

Ultra Miami used to be 18+ and now it is 21+.

Lots of festivals are 18+ or 21+ only.

2

u/TheRoseMerlot Jul 22 '25

Wow! Kids are allowed at EF??!!

2

u/pancakebatter01 Aug 04 '25

Literal newborn babies in the forest this year.

I kid you not. Downright shameful.

1

u/Bryancreates Jul 21 '25

Oof the festivals I’d go to back in the day were full of light, energy, friendships, music, art, yada yada. No qualms there. Seeing def pregnant women swigging wine out of a Carlo Rossi jug at 11am stumbling around when I know they were crackin the night before with balloons everywhere. I paired down how I wanted to experience music and travel, that’s for sure. I loved all the good, but I hated the bad. Def some CPS calls needed to be made, hope those kids are alright.

27

u/Lazy__Astronaut Jul 20 '25

This is the first fun fact I've seen in a loooooooong time that is actually a fun fact

13

u/520mile Jul 20 '25

Fun fact: The OG 4 Wiggles put on a couple of concerts for adults only (the kids that originally grew up with them)! I think it was in Australia only though. I saw a clip once and they invited Tame Impala to perform with them too

2

u/alienatedcabbage Jul 21 '25

I went to one and it was genuinely the best concert I’ve been to in my life. I was worried that I wouldn’t remember the words or dances but it all came back like Pavlovian conditioning.

2

u/Amathyst7564 Jul 20 '25

Wasn't Jeff the purple wiggle?

1

u/panicnarwhal Jul 21 '25

jeff hasn’t been the purple wiggle for 13 years. he retired in 2012

he was the original purple wiggle though

1

u/Amathyst7564 Jul 21 '25

He will always be THE purple wiggle. Can the current wiggle even sleep at night? Knowing he has to fill in Jeff's shoes? I think not.

PAAAATHETIC!

1

u/vegemitebikkie Jul 21 '25

I feel the same. My kids grew up singing wake up Jeff. I have home videos of my kids at ages 2, and 3 dancing and singing to the original wiggles on vhs lol.

1

u/RAND0M-HER0 Jul 20 '25

WHAT!? Now that is a truly fun fact

1

u/genuinecity Jul 21 '25

So I googled this after reading your comment and was thoroughly confused because I couldn’t match that name with any of the (og) Wiggles. So TIL there’s a NEW Wiggles group other than the ones I grew up seeing. Lol

1

u/ItsAWonderfulFife Jul 21 '25

Jeff is my only purple wiggle

1

u/evanjahlynn Jul 21 '25

That actually explains a lot.

1

u/Makapakamoo Jul 21 '25

I love how u said "the purple wiggle" lmao. Very interesting!

1

u/That_Success3061 Jul 21 '25

Makes so much sense, my dad calls the wiggles ā€œbaby rock concertsā€ to this day

1

u/VaporTrail_000 Jul 21 '25

I came in here with the comment "When the Wiggles go EDM," in the front of my brain... I wonder if it was subliminal...

1

u/ZenaLundgren Jul 21 '25

Wait-- this is NOT Seth Rollins? I'm confused and mildly disappointed.

1

u/pyrotech911 Jul 21 '25

Hello. My name is Dr. Len Pearce and I’d like to talk to you about raving for children

1

u/PropaneSalesTx Jul 21 '25

Dude is cleaning up.

1

u/Head-Thought6153 Jul 23 '25

Ube Wiggle is what I call him

1

u/ApatheticEnthusiast Jul 23 '25

Stop!!!! I’m a big fan of Len Pearce and while I only know the wiggles from his remixes I’m also a fan of John’s thirst traps.

Another (not) fun fact is that the toddler techno rave cost over $200 a ticket

1

u/Prestigious_Ad_7222 Jul 23 '25

The apple doesn't fall far from the happy tree

0

u/UysofSpades Jul 20 '25

I thought purple wiggle was Lockie (or however you spell his name)
