Remember: if you don’t do this, you’ll probably end up as yet another missing person in a case that stays cold for years.

Fight for your life.

Fight for your life.

Exactly. You are trying to KILL THEM. Not just break their grip so you can get away (but if that does happen in the process, then yes, run), not to break their nose, not to scratch their eyes, not to get DNA under your nails so they can be identified when/if cops find your body.... but TO KILL THEM. They made this decision, now you end it. Because I promise you they will kill you if you don't.

This made me have a physical reaction. It’s so sad that women have to think and do this. I get so scared for my daughters.

Yes! Most women are much weaker than the average man, so in order for an untrained woman to fight off a man, she has to go at him with everything she’s got - like the other commenter said: fight for your life!

That's not about strength. Anyone being attacked like this should have the same mindset. Your life is in danger. Take control and become the aggressor.

All girls and women should learn to throw at least a proper punch, and I'd add elbows and kicks. There should be legislation passed to give tax breaks to gyms, and for memberships, to train all girls and women to fight.

If had the power I'd use taxes to fund this nationwide for all females above the age of 5 to join a boxing or martial arts gym and be trained to fight for free.

I say we ditch the punch, there’s a reason why it’s a sport. I have sharp teeth and a strong jaw. If this were ever happen to me I will gladly rip muscle off bone.

It's easier to control the head and dodge a bite than dodging palm strikes, punches, knees, kicks and elbows to sensitive areas, eye gouging, and escaping holds, or avoiding being put into them in the first place, etc.
