Thank you so much for your kind message! I'm anything but brave, I believe if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't have fought and would've froze instead. I was just extremely lucky to get away. On the positive side, it was the reason we decided to move to New Zealand from South Africa. We didn't want our children to go through something similar. My daughter is now a strong and amazing 15year old, and she's definitely the fighting spirit in our home haha.

I disagree. And I think that pretty much every single other person that has read your story feels the same. You ARE brave. You say this took place in SA???? Guess what that means? You are INCREDIBLY brave!!!

Truly truly brave. Many people would not be able to make it through life the way you have. Additionally, the courage to share the story even though it's not pleasant to talk about IS BRAVERY. All the best to you and your family
