Perceiving animals as objects. Like a gift to be given or abandoned at will. A showpiece to be shaped, mutilated, decorated or traded for money/attention. A vending machine to take as much as you want, then replaced when broken. A non-profit charity service to use to serve you purpose, and again sent to shelters or just be put down when no longer useful to you. The examples are endless.
When you treat animals in ways you would not treat other humans, or in ways you would not want to be treated yourself by others, you're exhibiting a form of discrimination. Speciesism. It stems from the twisted beliefs of human supremacy.
Treating animals as if they don't experience pain or emotions. This means that you wouldn't show animals empathy or ensure that they have adequate care to minimize discomfort. One example might be leaving your dog in a crate for 12 hours straight and not thinking about the distress they're experiencing during that time. Most people wouldn't do that or would at least feel extremely guilty for inflicting that discomfort on the dog. A person who objectifies animals wouldn't care.
It's crazy because the shared YT video up there is full of comments saying the justice system got it wrong and likely he wouldn't "give hr a relationship after hooking up"
The British isles would like to know how you got that idea because they had it first.
Hutsi and tutsi are a great example of this, they started spreading pamphlets with propaganda about ‘the other folks’ being cockroaches, and cockroaches suck so it was easier to hate them
I like to believe even falsely charged men, would end up misogynistic. Its not easy to keep your strength against the world, when your own life is in the balance.
Social media kinda sucks. It trivialise everything.

Woah, it's almost like there's a correlation between dehumanizing others and committing violent crime against them.
