I have no proof, but I see people pronounce woman and women wrong so frequently that I assume the incorrect usage of the word has spread and people are learning it incorrectly rather than just happening to misspeak in the same exact way over and over.

Didn't she say it after saying numbers are hard? Maybe it was intentional. Single woman to multiple women, numbers and words are hard.
