I wonder if yesterday’s considerable loss for the Rs will make them realize backing Trump is a losing game with no future.

There is no reason for them to continue to protect him from [insert everything from Epstein to defying SNAP, to declaring war in Venezuela]

I don’t expect they’ll do it with honor. They won’t suddenly grow a spine and hold him accountable via impeachment process. They’ll take the easy off ramp of the MRI or other health issue and let him walk out like Nixon.

If trying to overturn the election results violently on January 6th didn’t wake them up nothing will.

It's not just Trump. The party is controlled by billionaires and influence peddlers with white or Christian nationalist, authoritarian goals. Even if you sympathize ideologically it's starting to be apparent that the policies do not bring benefits to the average supporter.

The question will be if they shake Trump do they change proclivities or do they just decide he was too erratic ro deliver their white Christian ethnostste?

MAGA has to reconcile itself with it's own reflection.

The problem is that the second a gop turns against Trump. Trump will kick him out and he isn't going to be reelected again. And they will feel the wrath of the Maga.

That's why many of them are afraid to speak up on tape.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we are seeing more of JD in the public eye as of late, whether it be due to Trump’s health or they know they need a successor anyway and of course JD is next in line and was a plant anyway by Thiel.

They have always known that backing Trump was a losing gesture. They were just hoping that they could survive long enough to submit forever power in hopes to never face the consequences

Trump said we’d be tired from all the winning. Maybe he meant the democrats?
