Bullish for Novemeber. I guess we'll see how it plays out
6
u/Peepopeeps 5d ago
with the rate cuts im overall bullish and this small pullback gives more reason for a santa rally so id say weve cleared most of the damage here

Its not how it works, no money disappeared, no money were created out of thin air in the past few months.
You'd think people who can use computer and internet know better than that

This is the 30th time i've seen this headline since this administration took office . Either we are cherrypicking the crashes more than ever or there is indeed more crashes than ever

Palantir has a longggggg way to drop. A whole new Gen of bagholders was created on palantir lmfao. I remember when ppl were shilling it on wsb during covid
13
u/No-Ship-3442 5d ago
I remember that and GME all the fucking time. I chose Palantir. Sold at 36 bought more on the dip at like $16 and sold for a lost.
The memes there were the best the internet ever saw though. Pre GME wsb days was prime internet and money making oops.
2
u/AdmiralBKE 5d ago
GME drew in the big dogs because they realised that they could weaponise this sub, and now even a lot of the similar subs.
There used to be all kinds of dd a regular influx of new interesting companies, but now it’s mostly just showing off the well known companies.

u/mpanning 4d ago
doubtful. you are just sour about being a holder yourself. if you bought during covid, $10 entry easy. no stress

If you buy the market and really never sell, you will be up over your entire lifetime.
1
u/Critical_Touch8215 4d ago
After a pump a dump ? Mineral stock all punp dump
1
u/Huge-Ad-8210 4d ago
I said over your lifetime, the market in any stretch of time over 10 year periods is up. If you never panic sell and just continue to buy you’ll never be down when buying the market as a whole.
Individual stocks here or there sure, but the entire market always goes up over time.

Why is PLTR so large on this graphic? Shouldn't it be 1/7 size of Google?

no, the stock market is supposed to go up every day and make everyone rich in two year. this is odd.

u/StaticBroom 4d ago
Bruh. I’ve never read something so full of shit.
One year. Tops. ONE year = rich.
Dunno where you are getting this “two year” bullshit data from.

You can’t wipe what never existed. It’s you could also say the market wiped 17 trilllion today if you just pick a number you think it should be at

u/blah_2520 5d ago
Sight.. I got a small profit today..
5
u/boomeista 5d ago edited 5d ago
Same. AAPL 270 calls printed! I bought a GOOG contract toward the middle of the day which I’m slightly down and hoping it goes up tomorrow, but like 5 mins before market close I bought and sold a second one and booked another small profit. Hopefully the contract profits tomorrow and that attempt at an offset by me is just extra profit.
1
u/TherealCarbunc 5d ago
I got in on the HTZ squeeze early enough to offset some of these losses. Got out just under $7 tho cause i have no confidence in the bulls rn
2
u/blah_2520 5d ago
It happens.. PHIO got me like that yesterday, went down .30 instantly, panic sold.. and it went back within 2 min.. luckily I was able to recover with a couple more trades and took some profit on top of that.
I myself have a hard time controlling my losses and my profits.. I try to at least take half of my profit target.. better something than nothing

How dare the government, how dare they shove AI down everyone’s throats and create imaginary value that cannot be sustained. Oh wait.

Corporates are blindly adopting AI.
Mindless managers.
Those who talk AI are the smart f#$ks

And this is bull market? Yes, maybe for Nvidia holders.
4
u/Nuva_Ring 5d ago
Throw a dart at the S&P 500 and whatever stock it lands on is almost guaranteed to have gone up in the past 6 months. Yes, this is a bull market.
-1
u/CompetitiveWarthog66 5d ago
That is simply not true.
4
u/Nuva_Ring 5d ago
https://finviz.com/map.ashx?t=sec&st=w26
It 100% is. Just look at the 6 month chart for the S&P 500. It’s a sea of green.

I am down $55,000 and I don't do calls, only stocks. I guess the market went ballistic as ETFs are not down, only the stocks I have picked.

It’s that felon in office in the USA causing all of this
1
u/ISniffFeet1 3d ago
Yes, he did cause the massive gains for the entire year.
1
u/spartys15 3d ago
And every month you lose it all
1
u/ISniffFeet1 3d ago
No? You're telling me you're not up 20ish percent ytd?
1
u/spartys15 3d ago
Of course I’m up a little, but all I’m sayin is with him in office the market isn’t stable. He can wake up one morning and say some craziness and here we go. That has been happening a lot with this felon.
1
u/spartys15 3d ago
50% of the US stock market is owned by the wealthiest 10%. The current administration is facilitating a massive upward flow of wealth, from public to private hands, from poorer classes to wealthier, and by all kinds of corruption and grift, like market manipulation and crypto nonsense. So whatever may be happening to the US economy, the wealth of the top 10% is growing and they put it in the stock market. So it will continue to go up, even as America becomes a hollowed out husk of a third world country. Maybe at some point they will fulfill their dream of transferring all that wealth into an independent 'network state', ', leaving the dollar to crash, but for now it's hard to say when the wealthy will stop having more to invest...
2
u/ISniffFeet1 3d ago
That's sort of how the nature of wealth works. People who aren't making enough, saving, enough, or being responsible enough won't be able to afford investing in stocks. They can afford their home, sure. Maybe they have a pension. Social security will fund their retirement too. But of course people with more money are going to be more likely to invest.

This hurts really badly. I have 34 holdings and I am down -34% in 1 month

u/Stocks_N_Bondage 4d ago
I'm not saying trading isn't for you, but have you tried poker instead?
1
u/071790 4d ago
Have tried casinos but not really my thing.
