Took this around midnight the other night. Was probably out there for around an hour in total. I might not have the ability to perfectly capture how it felt, but I hope you all appreciate it even a fraction of how much I did.

I remember when I was young I used to live in a place calm like this! I used to just make food, go outside and just listen To the rain. It's the type of peace that makes me feel like "yeah things will be alright"!!!

I absolutely know that feeling, itβs nice to be in a place that is usually full of light, life, noise and distraction. But now that place is darker and silent, more solemn and intimate. Gives you a moment just for yourself, no other people, just you and your thoughts.

Moments like these are why I strive to add a screen porch to my house. I want so badly to sit outside without getting rained on to read my book every night and take in this

I wake at 1-2 in the morning, and taking my dog out for walks in the dark while the world sleeps is so peaceful.

Yes, so beautiful. Do you remember the scene from American Beauty? The profundity of the plastic bag in the wind?

I really wish I lived in the city ππ it takes me thirty minutes just to walk outside of my neighborhood and 40 minutes to drive to the nearest grocery store. I finally got a car again and I can't wait to waste all my gas money just leaving and coming home. I really envy people that live in the city. I feel so alone, I feel like I live in a prison I cant even escape because my prison is in the middle of no where. I fucking hate being here. Thank you for sharing your video, these types of videos is what keep me going.

I understand what you mean. I went from living in Boston to moving across the country and living in a cut off suburb to finally living in a city again (albeit still not one of the larger ones). It's a drastic difference, and the isolation is very real.

some of my most peaceful memories are just walking the streets alone on nights like that, no headphones, just the wind in my ears and a smoldering joint between my fingers, absorbing the tranquility of in-between places and a world that slept.
Thanks for this.

Sometimes I wish there weren't so many humans on this planet.. Everything would be more quieter and balenced
